Electoral Crimes/ 44 reports are recorded, Tirana, Fier and Dibra lead for irregularities
Through an official announcement, the General Prosecutor’s Office has published information about the registration of reports and criminal proceedings for electoral crimes. It is said that in total, 44 reports have been recorded for criminal offenses related to the election campaign.
The prosecution clarifies that the sources of notification of the criminal offenses for the above reports were: 19 cases by the Judicial Police, 9 cases from the SPAK, 6 cases of political entities, 8 cases initiated mainly and 2 cases by citizens.

Prosecutors in the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction by 07.05.2025 have been registered in total 44 criminal reports related to the criminal offenses in the field of elections provided for in Articles 325, 326/a, 327, 328, 328/a, 329, 329/a, 331/a and 332/a.

From the reports filed a total of 20 criminal proceedings for the offenses provided for in Articles 325, 326/a, 327, 328/a, 328/b, 329, 329/a, 331/a and 332/a of the following:
In the Prosecutor’s Office of the Court of First Instance of General Fier Jurisdiction, a total of 5 proceedings are recorded, 2 proceedings for the criminal offense provided for in Article 325 of the Criminal Code, 1 proceedings for Article 328/a of the Criminal Code, 1 proceeding for Article 328/a, paragraph 4 of the Criminal Code and 1 proceeding for the offense provided for in Article 328;
At the Prosecutor’s Office of the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction Gjirokastra, 2 proceedings have been recorded for the offenses offensed by Articles 326/1 and 329/1 of the Criminal Code;
The Prosecutor’s Office of the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction Elbasan registered in total 4 proceedings for the offenses of Articles 328/a, 248, 332/a, 134/1 and 287/b of the Criminal Code;
At the Prosecutor’s Office of the Court of First Instance of Durres General Jurisdiction, 1 proceedings were recorded for the offenses offensed by Articles 328/a and 248 of the Criminal Code;
At the Prosecutor’s Office of the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction, 1 proceeding is recorded for the criminal offenses offensed by Articles 237/5 and 328/a, paragraph 4 of the Criminal Code;
The Prosecutor’s Office of the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction Shkodra has registered 2 proceedings for the offenses offensed by Articles 328/a and 328/b of the Criminal Code;
At the Prosecutor’s Office of the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction, 2 proceedings have been recorded for the offenses offensed by Articles 325 and 326/a of the Criminal Code;
At the Prosecutor’s Office of the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction Kukes has registered 1 proceeding for the criminal offense of Article 328/that of the Criminal Code;
At the Prosecutor’s Office of the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction Korça has been registered 1 proceeding for the criminal offense of Articles 328/that of the Criminal Code; AND
At the Prosecutor’s Office of the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction Vlora was registered 1 proceeding for the criminal offense of Articles 328/that of the Criminal Code.
Meanwhile, SPAK has been sent for competence 1 report by the Durres Prosecutor’s Office and a criminal proceeding by the Fier Prosecutor’s Office. Other reports are in the verification phase.
