Elbasan, bridge of friendship across the borders, Mayor Llatja hosts Presevo Mayor Ardita Sinani

The Presevo Municipality delegation, headed by Mayor Ardita Sinani, paid today an official visit to Elbasan, where he was received by the Mayor, Gledian Latja.
During the meeting, Latja said that within this visit a series of cultural activities were organized that deepen the friendship between the two already twin cities. “We have not neglected the cooperation between businesses, which we are taking to a new phase”He said.
For her part, President Sinani praised collaboration in fields such as culture, education, media, art and information, stressing that these are key elements to attract European Union funds. She thanked the Albanian state for the support and underlined the role of the diaspora. “We have an extremely important diaspora that makes a major contribution, so this cooperation is essential for strengthening the Albanian factor as a whole and especially for the Presevo Valley. ”
The delegation also visited the cultural points of the city, such as the Ethnographic Museum, the Elbasan Castle and the Paleo -Christian Basilica near the Bezistan Rrap. Visitors were introduced to the historical heritage and cultural identity of Elbasan, which remains a bridge of friendship and cooperation across the borders.
