Elan and Davos with special skis for the Chinese market

Elan and Destination Davos Klosters have developed special skis for the Chinese market Davos Ski by Elan. Skiing in the Swiss center

In addition to classic carving skis, the world’s first folding skis in the world-Elan Voyager, are also shaped in Davos’s distinctive blue-yellow style. He adds that these skis will be made in Begunje, as in China they still appreciate skis from alpine areas than those made in Asia.

Although China also has hills where it is possible to ski in nature, in recent years it has been accelerating the halls where it can be skiing under a closed roof, near the city center. About 60 of them are expected to be around the country. In Shanghai, the largest covered ski resort in the world opened in Shanghai last September.

Elan is one of the few ski manufacturers to keep production in Europe. It produces a good 300,000 skis annually. As Korošec explains, they were expected to sell slightly less skis last year, as there have been quite a few supplies since the previous winter.
