EKO Acropolis Rally: In Zappeion the Hyperidian Route

The details of this year’s EKO Acropolis Rally, his seventh match World Rally Championship 2025, It was presented yesterday by the responsible Minister Mr. Broutsis, with the most important news about the hyperidian route to be held in Zappeion! Our big rally will take place on June 26-29, where on Thursday, June 26th the starting point of the race will be set up at the Panathenaic Stadium, with crews heading to Zappeion for the Hyperidal route. Admission to the public will be free.

The race will include 17 special routes and 341.43 kilometers and the route extends significantly, as the rally returns to Thessaly for the first time after 30 years.

EKO Acropolis Rally 2025 returns to downtown Athens. The starting ceremony of the race will take place at the Square in front of the Panathenaic Stadiumwhile the hyperidian route will begin a few meters further, under the statue of the Myron disco. Immediately afterwards, the cars will turn to Vasileos Constantinou Avenue and from there, to Vasilissis Olga Avenue, to enter the Zappeion Square, creating a unique setting, with free access to the public, within the historic center.

. EKO Athens Super Special Stage, 1.5 kilometers long, It will be broadcast live around the world, highlighting Athens and its monuments as a scene of an international sporting event.

As the Deputy Minister of Sport typically noted: « The hyper -run route is not just a racing ‘introduction’. It is the showcase of the Greek struggle, Greece. It is the scene with which the country is re -established as a tourist destination on the planet. « 

The realization of this ambitious choice would not be possible without the cooperation of the Attica Region and the Municipality of Athens, which actively supported the return of racing action to the historic center.
