Economy, Finance, Budget and Plan Committee Gathered – Cyprus Newspaper
The Assembly of the Republic, Economy, Finance, Budget and Plan Committee gathered today, on the agenda “Money and Cambiation (Amendment) Draft Law (YT No: 145/2/2023)”, “Money and Cambiation (Amendment) Draft (YT No: 223/3/2024)” and “the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Security Forces (Amendment) Draft Law”.
According to a statement from the Assembly, KOmite gathered at 10.00 under the chairmanship of the Committee Chairman UBP Deputy Official Eroğlu Canaltay.
Economy, Finance, Budget and Plan Committee first discussed the Kanun The Law of the Security Forces of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (Amendment) Law (Draft Amendment) and unanimously approved the Draft Law on the agenda of the General Assembly.
Economy, Finance, Budget and Plan Committee then handled the “Money and Cambiation Draft (Law (Amendment) Draft ve and continued to negotiate. The Committee will continue its work on the draft law in the next meeting.
The committee meeting, Deputy Chairman of the Committee CTP Deputy Erkut Şahali, Committee Member UBP Deputy Hasan Küçük, Committee Member CTP Deputy Salahi Şahiner and Committee Member UBP Deputy Alişan Şan attended. Finance Minister Özdemir Berova was also present at the committee meeting.
As an invitation to the committee meeting, the Ministry of Finance and the Office of Money, Exchange and Development Fund Works, Ministry of Economy and Energy and Jewelery and Jewelers Association participated in the committee and presented their views to the committee.
