Ecobonus for motorcycles and scooters, discounts of up to 40%: who has the right, how to do, how much money there is still

Boom of questions for the Ecobonus dedicated to motorcycles and scooters. From 18 March, dealers (on behalf of private individuals) can apply for the website of the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy for incentives intended for the purchase of mopeds and motorcycles with reduced emissions. Ten days after the opening of the counter to send the applications, the funds still available on the Mimit website are halved: they have gone from about 30 million to just 15. The contribution is aimed at anyone who acquires an electric or hybrid vehicle of the L1E, L2E, L3E, L4E, L5E, L6E, L7E categories and is calculated on the percentage of the purchase price: 30 percent without scrapping and 40 percent in case there is also scrapping (with a maximum roof of 4 thousand euros).

For the incentive they had been allocated with the Budget Law 2021 150 million euros: 20 million for each year from 2021 to 2023 and 30 million for each of the years from 2024 to 2026.

How to request

To access the incentives, the dealers on behalf of the customers, they must be recorded on the platform Ecobonus.mise.gov.it and book the contributions according to the procedures indicated. But how does the incentive work and which vehicles give access to the contribution?
