Easter with smaller chocolates / day

Nutritionists have appealed to parents’ common sense almost every spring, calling for a limiting amount of chocolate eggs eaten at Easter. However, it has rarely been able to discourage the floods of sweets. Millions of families in different countries around the world are proud of the giant baskets that children have filled with the chocolate eggs brought in, in colorful foil, which have been filled with the children they have found. However, this year could bring adjustments to a healthier eating. Not for more conscientious actions, but for financial reasons, because this year sweets simply pay frighteningly expensive. So expensive that this year the amount of snacks brought by Easter bunny could be relatively small.

Crazy expensive

For a couple of years now, there are processes in the world that could be called the chocolate crisis. Adverse weather conditions in West Africa have led to bad coffee and cocoa bean yields, so in previous years stocks are almost emptied and the addition of warehouses enters the warehouse. This has led to the rapid rise in the price of coffee and cocoa products. Cocoa beans have become almost three times more expensive in the last couple of years, directly affecting chocolate bars and candy final price stores. Depending on the product and the amount of chocolate, the composition increased from a few tens of percent to double rise. Since chocolate is not a basic necessity product, frugal consumers exclude expensive snacks from the purchase basket easier than bread, meat or vegetables. Manufacturers have to act to prevent sweets from being completely left.
