Easter: Protest from Vegans in the Constitution Against Slaughter of Lamb
A rally and awareness rally, in view of Easter Sunday, for which « more than 2 million lambs and kids are slaughtered » as they say, they are currently taking vegans in the Constitution.

« Vegan Life is a Vegan organization that has been active in Greece since 2016. We came here today for the fourth time, to talk about the rights of lambs and kids slaughtered for Easter. More than 2 million animals are slaughtered only for Easter Sunday, and we ask people to think that they can celebrate Easter, to find themselves at the same table, just to eat more peaceful, without killing animals for this day, « said Elli Stournas.
Vegan Life invites Easter Sunday to an alternative table on Inspira estate in Alepochori Megara. There, visitors will have the opportunity to « try delicious and nutritious vegan creations », for 5 to 10 euros per plate « and celebrate the day with respect to all living beings, » the NGO points out.
The day at Inspira’s estate promises not only good food, but also an experience of connection to nature, with other people and with a way of life that promotes compassion and tranquility. «
