« Christ has been risen, he lives! He did not remain a prisoner of death, » wrote Francis in his homily, while rejecting Jesus’ vision as « the hero of the past » or « statue in the museum room. » The Pope explained that The risen Lord is a reality present at any time of our liveswhich demands an active search.
