Easter Hope – Nova Makedonija
It is not accidental that Easter is a holiday of light, hope and a new beginning. Easter should encourage people and give them hope. That is the power of God: the victory of life over death, the triumph of light over the darkness, the rebirth of the hope among the ruins of failure.
Easter is the strongest element in the foundations of Christianity because it essentially celebrates the victory of mankind. Almost throughout the Christian world it is accepted not only as the greatest religious holiday but also as the world’s greatest value. Belief in the resurrection of Jesus Christ is a source of hope, the belief that something positive will happen, something is expected to be fulfilled. There is hope, not to lose hope, not the last hope. Or not to nourish false hope. The saying « Hope last dies » is famous.
In today’s world, which is changing dramatically, where the lack of humanity often comes to light, emphasizing and celebrating Easter values become essential in every society that wants peace, security and tolerance among people and peoples. Mankind, goodness in man and love for others, optimism and hope, spiritualities that were thought to be indestructible are abandoned and easily failed. Just like the people in the restless world around us and the Macedonian people, whether they are a believer or not, they need hope and encouragement that everyone can be better and that light will overcome darkness.
The Bible prophet Jeremiah wrote that the hope for man is like an anchor for the soul. Just as the anchor holds the ship during the storm and hope helps people to bear all the problems they face. Other prophets have said that hope gives emotional and mental stability, even that it contributes to human health. Hope is the best remedy for a sense of hopelessness, alienation and fear. When asked a few thousand years ago the philosopher Aristotle was hope, he replied that hope was what the alert was dreamed of.
A Bible Psalm sings about how important a person lives in hope, but warns of the danger of taking hope of wrong and wrong people. US statesman Benjamin Franklin has paraphrased him in a wise lesson, which says that « the one who feeds in hope will die of hunger. »
Today’s picture of the citizens of Macedonia would show that the hope of them is experiencing an hour upward line. Once the hope comes to life, another primacy takes its self – the disappointment. All social, political and party cycles from independence to the present, all sorts of elections and changes in power have begun with hope and ending with disappointment. After great hope, even greater disappointment follows. All leaders, party leaders and election campaigns, government presidents, without exception, have gone out of office as a great disappointment for citizens. From strong support initially, they ended up with fierce criticism, charges (not only with suspicion) of crime and corruption, political illegal trade and social immorality. Some have fled the country and are asylum seekers around the world. From glittering beginnings to an infamous end to them, with drastic damage left to the state.
In our small country hope has long been wasted. They knocked her out, almost killing the political elites, who were abused only for covering their personal and party interests. With unworthy political projects, with reforms, they lead to worse instead of better, and what is left of the original admiration. By adopting inflated or unconstitutional laws, with post -election twists, fraud, cheating ideals and programs, crime and corruption rule, national optimism and joy have brought intoxication, uncertainty, uncertainty.
Changing the name, agreements with Bulgaria and Greece, almost the hostile policy that the EU is pursuing to Macedonia has contributed to a general neurotic, frustrating present and an uncertain future. Hopelessness and mistrust of everything and everyone. The years and conditions (times) were not as bad as the people who managed our country and our destinies were incompetent.
However, there is hope. There is no man who does not know the phrase that hope dies last. It has been said in a predatory legend of Pandora and the Pandora box. Pandora of Greek mythology was what is Eve in the Bible. As Eve revealed the secrets of life by breaking the forbidden apple of the tree in paradise, Pandora was told not to open the box (the jump) in which all the bad things were kept. But Pandora, overwhelmed by female curiosity, opened it.
The box went out and all the troubles, accidents, badness and evils that were closed were spread around the world. Sadness, plague, poverty, crimes, despair, envy, greed, madness, madness, hunger, deception, lies and false words came out. Bad passions came out, many types of worries, to one hundred and fifty pains, one day, others at night, diseases in unlimited numbers and in various forms, spread pacota and wickedness. All the quarrels and the evils that have emerged since then the soul and body of man have come out. According to legends, from that day, since the opening of the Pandora’s box, people have begun to grow old.
When Pandora, frightened by the animals that flew or crawled through the room, closed the lid of the casket, with only hope left. When she opened her for the second time, she came out, so that humanity and wicked times left hope. According to the story, hope addressed Pandora with the words she had to convey to people: « I will be with you while I need you. While you are alive I promise that I will never leave you. There will be moments here when you seem to have disappeared. That’s how hope said, if it is to believe the story.
Jesus has been the voice of humanity for more than two thousand years, referred to, among other things, as a prince of humanity’s hope. His resurrection has become a holiday of spiritual purity, of a rebirth, the hope of a new beginning of life.
