Pieter de Roo, director of the Free Primary School Scheldewindeke, sent out an email to inform the parents of the accident. « We hope for positive news for C., but in the meantime we consider the loss of her mum, » it sounds. « Her mom was involved for years for the care of her children, she was very dedicated and will be reminded of everyone. We wish the family a lot of strength and courage in this loss. »
Next Tuesday the students of the fifth grade will start with a joint moment in the polyvalent room, where the school will offer them the time to ask questions and find comfort. « Parents who want this can go together on Tuesday in the dining room of our school. In the entrance hall of our school, a silence corner is provided, where everyone can go. »
