E-Path 6 starts from Elbasan. Sustainable tourism in the focus of regional cooperation
The Mayor of Elbasan, Gledian Llatja, received in his office senior representatives of the European Hiking Federation, as well as representatives of the Federations from Albania, Kosovo, Montenegro and Northern Macedonia.
The meeting took place in a cooperative atmosphere and focused the importance of the initiative for the development of natural and sustainable tourism in the region.
« I had the pleasure of waiting in Elbasan representatives of the European Hiking Federation and the Federations of Albania, Kosovo, Montenegro and Northern Macedonia, » said Mayor Llatja. « This was an important meeting that paves the way for concrete cooperation in the implementation of the E-Path 6. » project. «
E-Path 6 is part of the network of European paths, an initiative that aims to connect different destinations through the paths of nature walking, while promoting the natural beauties, cultural and historical heritage of the participating countries.
This project offers a tremendous opportunity to strengthen alternative tourism and bring more visitors to the city of Elbasan and beyond, contributing to the economic development and promotion of the natural and cultural resources of the area.
Elbasan Municipality remains committed to being an active part of this initiative and to build new cooperation bridges with local and international partners.
