Dynamo defeated the Tractor in the fourth match of the semifinal series of the Gagarin Cup

In the semifinals of Play-OFF « Fonbet » of the Continental Hockey League, Moscow Dynamo inflicted the first defeat « Tractor ». In the fourth match, the Chelyabinsk residents lost-1: 3, but still retain the advantage in the series-3: 1, which can now be closed in the next meeting at their site.

After Dynamo lost two matches in Chelyabinsk – 3: 4 and 2: 3, it seemed that nothing else had happened to him. The quarter -final series with Ak Bars, Muscovites began at all with two domestic defeats, but nevertheless pulled it out. And it seems like the third meeting with the “tractor” was formed in their favor, because they quickly opened the score, and in the middle of the third period they led – 2: 1. However, the Urals won another strong-willed victory-3: 2, which they scratched in the second overtime with the efforts of his best scorer Maxim Shabanov, who rose with 15 points to the second place according to the “goal plus pass” in the current Play-OFF.

0: 3 in the confrontation with such a “tractor” was already a critical mark, and Dynamo’s chances to salvation fell to almost zero.

And then the leader of the blue and white in terms of effectiveness in the current Gagarin Cup Maxim Komatua dropped out due to an injury. True, the semi -final series did not ask him anyway – the charismatic Canadian did not score a single score, and the indicator of his usefulness was “minus six”. Something went wrong with another Canadian legionnaire-Cedric Packett, whom the head coach of Muscovites Alexei Kudashov even seated in the reserve during the third match, and at the fourth he did not fall into the application at all.

It is not surprising that, being on the verge of departure, the Dynamo looked rather constrained. Perhaps this is what did not allow them to better dispose of the double majority in the debut, when Artem Blazhievsky went to the penalty box at once for four minutes. All threats were straightforward, and the goalkeeper of Zach Fukale coped with them. And when Dylan Siker seemed to have struck him, the puck hit the bar. Gradually, the hosts nevertheless rolled out and began to replay the “Tractor”, but they were brought up by the implementation, and even the skillful Nikita Gusev failed to use a great moment, having left alone on the nickle. In the first period, the blue and white markedly transferred the opponent, and 50 seconds before the break, the number still turned into quality. Artem Shvets-Rogovaya Scudy threw the puck almost from the left side towards the gate, and she flew into the net, on the path of hitting Blazhievsky and slightly changing the direction. So for the third time it was Dynamo that scored the first.

In the second twenty -minute, the Tractor, according to the expected script, translated the game to the gates of Vladislav Poyapolsky, and now he had to work hard. However, having survived several extremely unpleasant shifts, Muscovites visited someone else’s zone, and Artem Ilyenko unexpectedly charged under the bar from the right circle of throwing. Yes, and his partner Dmitry Rashevsky correctly settled in front of Fukal. Although the situation when the Chelyabinsk residents were inferior – 0: 2 – in the second period, was already in the series. Another thing is that now they could not soar the “dry” Poyapolsky, who reflected only 20 shots in this segment, and another 16 were blocked by field players.

The wards of the Canadian specialist Benoit GRU remained the third period, at the start of which one of the most productive Play-OFF defenders Grigory Dronov reduced the difference and caught up with the five goals of Blazhievsky. In addition, Shabanov recorded the 16th point in his asset. Then the guests created a number of points. Alexander Kadeikin-from the transfer of the same Dronov, Shabanov and Mikhail Goryunov-Rolgiezer, they simply threw it to slaughter from the near pile, but they either did not have enough accuracy, or Poyapolsky demonstrated the wonders of the reaction. But the three -time winner of the Gagarin Cup, as part of CSKA, Anton Slepyshev, on the experiment, stole the rebound from Fukal and threw the puck into the net. The Chelyabinsk residents tried to get out of such a difficult situation. Both rods surrounded Poyapolsky, not to mention the goalkeeper himself, who eventually made 44 sves.

The black-and-white match finished in the “six-five” format without fookal, but Dynamo survived and won-3: 1. However, the “Tractor” leads in the series with the same account. The fifth match of the series will be held on Tuesday, May 6, in Chelyabinsk.
