With an atmospheric opening concert in the Cube521 in Marnach, the Dullemajik ensemble gave the starting signal for its 50th anniversary on Saturday. What began in 1975 under the direction of Guy Schonscelebrated half a century of cultural treasure hunt and musical passion in 2025 – an anniversary, which is recognized with a total of three concerts in Marnach, in the artice in Zolwer (on May 13th at 8pm) and in the Philharmonie (on July 3 at 7.30 p.m.).
In Marnach, Guy Schonge (vocals, guitar, percussion), Marion Michels (vocals), Nadine de Lorenzi-Bissen (vocals, flute, clarinet), Maurizio Spiridiglizzi (accordion) and Jacqueline Servais (hurriedir) provided a variety of evening: from old ballads of the Renaissance to traditional folk songs Chansons of the 20th century, for example from Putty Stein, the sheet of Dullemajik spanned. Not only melodies of past times grew alive, but also a piece of Luxembourg I identity – no wonder, because more than 1,000 Luxembourg songs have collected over the course of five decades.

In addition to the anniversary concerts, the audience awaits an extensive accompanying program: On May 6, Guy speaks about the role of the Mary worship in Luxembourg, shortly before the Mother of God. On May 19, an unusual view of metaphorical cannibalism in culture and history follows – under the title « Ech Kéint Dech Friessen! » in the National Library. Further concert lectures are planned for autumn.
