« Ukraine will also have to make concessions in a sense, because it will probably happen, » he said, « To what extent? I am difficult to answer at this stage. »
Duda emphasized that a protracted war bears losses for both Ukraine and Russia. In his opinion, only the active role of the United States is able to bring the end of the conflict.

It, in particular, refers to the possible recognition of Washington of Russian control over Crimea and weakening sanctions against Moscow.
