DSB overturns your summer plans with train bus-mare and massive delays
Here the changes begin
Already from July 7, the changes will begin with minor delays on trains from Copenhagen towards Fredericia. But from July 11, the situation takes a more extensive turn.
Here all the trains from the capital to Jutland stop in Slagelse, where passengers must continue by train bus to Korsør.
« This weekend you will also have to take a train bus between Odense and Fredericia, » says the message from DSB.
On July 14 and 19, travelers will again find themselves being redirected between Slagelse and Korsør, while there will also be fewer departures on the stretch between Odense and Fredericia.
However, IntercityLyn will continue to run, but with extra stops along the way.
« IntercityLyn usually runs between Korsør and Aarhus H, but will stop extraordinary at Nyborg and Middelfart, » DSB says.
At the end of the month, the changes are further intensified. Between July 20 and 30, the Intercity trains between Copenhagen and Fredericia have been reduced to drive only to Middelfart.
From here, train buses take over to Fredericia. A special change takes place between 26 and 27 July, where train buses are deployed all the way between Odense and Fredericia.
Passengers are encouraged to orient themselves well in advance and prepare for changes that can characterize this summer’s train journeys in the whole Danish country.
