A drunk wanted to drive on Friday morning with a stolen children’s bike to the north bridge in Vienna-Floridsdorf, which belongs to the Danube bank (A22). According to a police spokeswoman, however, the 38-year-old overwhelmed the tiredness on the driveway at Shopping City Nord, which is why he lay down on the green area next to the driveway. A witness noticed this and alerted the police around 7:00 a.m.
The officials of the Ziegelofenweg inspection aroused the Polish citizen next to the guardrail. He was unharmed, but heavily drunk with 2.74 per thousand. According to the spokeswoman, he stated that he had come to the driveway around 5:00 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. The man no longer knew why he was going there and where he had stolen from the wheel. The professional rescue brought him to a hospital. The police secured the bike.
The 38-year-old was shown from Austria a few days earlier. He is known for ownerships and was reported for theft, due to injuries to the road traffic regulations and according to the Foreign Police Act. (APA)
