BRATISLAVA. Another positive plastic drug surgeon or revenge of management of the University Hospital Bratislava for the fact that doctors have given the management protector?
A drug case in the hospital in Ružinov in Bratislava a few weeks ago led to dismissal or position outside the service of two doctors and the dismissal of the head of the Drahomír Palenčár Plastic Surgery Clinic.
In the first half of March, Ivan Fuljer was positively tested for drugs of the clinic of plastic surgery.
On Wednesday they reportedly found out that his colleague was under the influence of drugs. However, he had another test from which he came negatively two hours later. Therefore, the SME daily does not disclose its name, because it is not clear whether or not it was under the influence of drugs. The editorial, however, knows his name and talked to him.
UNB’s management claims that the other positively test doctor immediately dismissed.
The head of the medical departments in the Ruzinov hospital and at the same time plastic surgeon Miroslav Mendel opposes that the doctor was only out of service.
At the same time, Mendel suggests that the second doctor’s test could have been manipulated because he and other doctors gave Fuljer, who, according to him, was a hospital management protector. The hospital management denies it.
The second positive doctor is also a trade unionist. « I don’t stop anyone. If this doctor is positive, I think he has nothing to work in our clinic, » says Mendel.

« Toxicological examination carried out on April 2 2025 on illegal substances confirmed a positive result from the doctor from the clinic of plastic surgery in the Hospital Ružinov, » spokeswoman Eva Kliská wrote on Thursday morning.
« Around 12.30, I performed a drug test in the hospital in the form of urine collection, » says the doctor concerned. « On the same day at 14.30, I performed a test in the next certified laboratory in the presence of three witnesses. This test was negative, » he says.
