A dramatic rescue operation has begun. A forester was the first to start, who is also a lifeguard of the Beskid GOPR group. The man also informed the GOPR headquarters in Szczyrk.
Rescuers from Markowe Szczawin immediately went to the place, equipped with a resuscitation backpack and carrier for transport. The injured man together with TOPR rescuers was « picked up with a drainage to the helicopter and transported to the hospital in Zakopane. » He was conscious, but his condition was serious. The patient required urgent care of specialists.
