They had a green light. They could go through the belts. Suddenly, a Mazda driver hit a woman standing on the pavement with two children. In Mazda you can see the enormity of this drama. Broken windshield. Broken bumper. Right mirror.

The incident occurred around 19:45 at the intersection of ul. Katowicka and the heroes of Monte Cassino in Opole.
According to preliminary findings of policemen working on site, the 49-year-old Mazda driver lost control of the car, pulled into the pavement and hit a woman with two children. The victims were taken to hospital. The driver was not injured. He was detained

As it turned out, the driver was completely drunk. He had 2 per mille of alcohol in his body.
After sobering up, police activities will be carried out with him

The walking was accompanied by a dog. Unfortunately, the animal did not survive this event.
The road was blocked. Policemen work on site who will explain the circumstances of the incident.
