DP is a tremendous opposition in front of a government that has asphyxiated everything around it

By Andy Bushati-

Shocked by the defeat, stunned by Rama’s staggering result and not preparing for what the militants will say, who by May 11th with the illusion that Ramism had come to Tirana along with Sorosism in the US, the Democratic Party has lost Nord.

Its leaders are ready to be caught on the street with struggle reporters, who repeat the regime’s theses; The newly elected MPs have taken the main task of discrediting any peacock that repeats the refrain and ink that « the votes were not stolen, but Berisha lost »; Those few media outlets controlled by the opposition spend time on the flagship of relativization, preaching that « there were irregularities but that do not affect the essence of the result ».

All this frustration stems from a paradox: the DP screams that we are under dictatorship, but it still acts as if it were in democracy. The existence of the regimes is taken for the blessings of the lakhs, the drums, the tellers, the servants. Their denunciation and ridicule is of value only in freedom systems.

It is enough to identify this small contradiction, that is, the spending of energy with the most vulnerable layer of society, to understand the chaos where the largest opposition party is located.

All this behavior testifies to the triumph of anger instead of putting to the job of reason, the surrender in the face of the impossible, as a failure to process a new approach.

But from now on, the DP is doomed to do nothing as so far. Having not stopped Rama, in three challenges and with two different leaders in the face, it must change deeply.

This transformation passes through two main sacrifices. First, ending the delirium of its own considered as a big party, but by acting as a small party. Second, by closing the fable of being a system party, to become an anti -system force. Let’s explain…

What would a PD say, from now on, small? Of course, everyone with the minimal bondens would insist that, with the half million supporters he received, especially in cruel uneven conditions, the DP remains high. It – with the difference from the new opposition – is clearly the main anti -government force in the country. But the problem is not in the numbers. He is on the real impact they have. To the power to influence through them. Has the DP not managed to set up an inquiry commission has not been exhausted? Has any minimum objective come out, such as developing an interpellation with the prime minister? Could the right to consider in the constitutional desecration of the mandate by a majority MP? Is it heard, even as a rare one, about changing a single article of the budget, or for any common resolution of parliament? Of course not, because in autocratic systems the influence of the opposition is zero.

But, one might say: Didn’t the long -running pressure of the opposition have a role in Veliaj’s handcuffing? Even for those who, unlike me, do not see in this act a movement ordered from above, again there is an answer. What value did this arrest have? Didn’t the PS increase with numbers in Tirana even without Lalin? Do payments continue for the incinerator, are the politicized administration of the municipality equally used, do they continue the same tenders and the same clients? Does this not indicate that Veliaj was simply the recruitment gear, whose absence could not prevent the functioning of the same criminal machine for a day? So in this « great victory » the impact of the DP has been zero.

Even in these elections as in recent years, its power to change something has been negligible. The opportunity to influence people’s lives and transform the course of society has been the same.

It is today an overwhelmed opposition in the face of a government that has asphyxiated everything around it, any against power and any independent institution. The DP has been removed the opportunity to overthrow power by vote. And this is the end of the illusion of what can be considered as a great party, that is, a force that can produce rotation through electoral battles. Both theoretically and practically, under Rama’s regime, this probability has fallen. Therefore, the DP should change access and strategy by behaving as a small party. Starting work from zero. Not addressing society with the Grandoman slogan that you can vote once for me and everything changes, but bringing like the new forces to first make it aware of their truth.

This is the truth that the country is living in an anti -democratic period.

But she can’t take root by lying in any electoral challenge that the victory is near and it is achieved through the vote. Thus bringing the DP, as idiotic as naive, has made the play of the regime facade. So while she claims that things are achieved through elections, she has indirectly accepted the existence of democracy.

In this new approach there can be no more room for delirious parole that Rama has a few days of life, that Albania will be liberated after 11 May and other similar fools. Instead she is doomed to talk about a difficult journey inside a tunnel, which is not yet seen.

A large party demands power quickly, a small one sees it as the process of adhering to society to its theses. The former want to return to the existing institutions the latter aim in advance delegation.

The latter should be the real challenge of a DP seeking to make the Ristart KPMPIUTER. If she is truly convinced that the narcodicature has been placed in Albania, should it review the position with every institution of this regime? The word comes what will be the approach to the new paradise? Does the opposition make more sense to overtake there with the ridiculous solemnity of the four years that they have gone, convinced that nothing can be achieved in that room? Since the final boycott and the burning of mandates have anathema for a long time as a personal gaffe of Lulzim Basha, wouldn’t they better preserve those fifty countries, appearing once every six months without really being present in the Assembly? Is it more efficiently ignoring this institution than keeping the illusion alive that it is a pluralistic arena, where the parties clashed? Does the idea of lack of democracy are more likely to have an empty chair, or where the opposition fights but eventually rapes?

The same goes for attitudes towards new justice and especially SPAK? Can there be more illusions to them when irrefutable facts prove that it was at the time of Duman, Rama became politically stronger than ever? Yes, in this new situation, do they make sense to the debile of opposition MPs to their rivals that « will you soon end up in the SPAK doors »? Should the public be won in this deceptive dream? Does the opposition make more sense to continue with denunciations in the Special Prosecution only that the latter occasionally handcuffs any senior politicians as an ordinary wrongdoer, but does not prevent the functioning of the criminal system for a moment?

These two examples, which can be followed by many others, are worth showing that the DP must end the dilemma that orally denounces dictatorship but with actions it is like living in a system of freedom. In order to become credible in her claims, she must attempt to grab even the little democratic facade left by this regime.

It is precisely this objective that leads us to the second point. If it has to end the behavior as a big party to act as small, with it, it must also open the chapter of transforming into an anti -system force. For nearly three decades it has been one of the two columns, this system. He also has her face. Much of the superstructure, of institutions, oligarchs of business, even though not gangs hold its stamp. To take a flagrant example: despite the fact that the reform of the Dreasts degraded into a weapon against the opposition, it could neither be conceived nor could it take shape without its rich, even with the passion, the approval of the DP.

But today the impact of this party on prosecutors or judges, access to oligarchs funding in relation to rivals, the kindness of great televisions in its time, and the support of the strong Democrats of Lac or Mamurras, who once claimed to collapse governments is almost zero. Then what value does the ridiculous poses of the removal have as part of the system when all its elements, including the bandits, have left you in the mud?

Awareness of this new reality would liberate the DP. However painful it may seem in advance, accepting the fact that it is no longer a party party, it would force it to cut off the latest nostalgic links, the friendly scruples and the remaining financial interests with its former servants who have changed the masters today.

For example, why does Berisha need to be careful with some oligarchs, that if they used to be the stars of his government model, today they have turned into the funders of the enemy seeking disappeared? That maybe you still leak something? But is this point of value in the ocean in front of the rivers flowing to Rama in order to massacre the opposition?

Another example: What does tolerance be tolerance to a television as a clan that served as a poropogande machine as long as he was prime minister, even producing alibi for the January 21 killings? Is it worth the inertia of maintaining this connection, in the face of reliable denunciation of a media -like media system?

It is time for the opposition to become aware that even if it did not have its choice it is the system itself that has taken it out. The transformation from one oligarchic-pluralist model to another, oligarchic-autocratic, definitely required a sacrifice. And this fate shot the party numerically in the country.

Therefore, the sooner the DP is clear that they have been raped in the position of an anti-system party, the easier it will be to cut off the verse that keep it related to the past. And consequently the more potential will be reliable in the regime’s denunciation.

Of course, just like any body that is forced to undergo traumatic surgery, this transformation can lead to the death of the patient. But is this risk, however high, for a party that continues to remind us daily that time brought it to the stage to face dictatorships? Doesn’t the DP betray the little thing left of the former myth, but did not dare at least once again?

Of course yes, as the next road is a longer agony, but with irreversible end. To avoid this, she must sacrifice two things: First of the self -man as a great party that has the rotation and secondly as a force within the system. Bringing it on, she does nothing but keep the facade of democracy alive that Rama is trying to keep with nails.

As the DP is doomed to grab it. Not as far as now playing with the tramping illusion of the magnificent Albania, which has been the fairy tale during the campaign, but if there is still power, working to restore a normal Albania. And that comes by snapping every bridge with this abnormality.
