Dozens of young racles for prostitution by loverboy method
Police officers from combating organized crime have implemented 39 domiciled search mandates in Bucharest and in nine counties, in a case regarding the crimes of setting up an organized criminal group, trafficking in continuous form, pimping and money laundering, through which over 5.3 million lei would have been exploited.
« From the administered evidence it turned out that, starting with 2019, in the municipality of Bucharest, four people would have been, on family criteria, an organized crime group, to which seven other people would have adhered, specialized in the recruitment of young people and young people, by the ‘loverboy’ method, in order to exploit sexual, by obliging the prostitution, but also in the country, but also in the country, informs a statement of the General Inspectorate of the Romanian Police (IGPR).
27 persons would have been recruited, especially from Bucharest and Prahova county, but also from other localities, all coming from modest, disorganized families, without material possibilities or that were institutionalized in social assistance centers.
Subsequently, the members of the group would have facilitated or assured the injured persons transport on the territory of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, as well as housing to practice prostitution. The amounts of money, estimated at over 5.3 million lei, from the sexual exploitation of the victims would have been acquired, almost entirely, by the members of the group.
