Summer came and many employees are coming to the factory just by bike, for parked cars they have to drive on a regular road.

« It is here every day, it has been about a month. We and my colleagues go to work on a bike, we have to leave a safe cycle route in front of the factory because there are trucks on it. I counted 27 last Friday, up to 45 on Monday, » Milan Majerník from Zavara described the situation.

These are loaded trucks, some and empty, others have only a trailer without a tractor. « They park directly on the sidewalk and occupy its entire width. In addition to having nothing to do, they can damage him by their weight, who will then look for the culprit? » asks. In his words, hundreds of employees drive to the factory daily in this period.

What about the police

We first asked the police for the situation. From there they confirmed that the cyclist’s path is a separate road reserved only for cycling. It is marked with the appropriate traffic sign. « The brands and rules are obliged to respect every road party, » said Veronika Dachová, regional spokeswoman of the police.
