Douglas store chain will open various stores in Belgium this spring. Earlier, the opening of their branch in Ghent was particularly successful, some customers had risen at 3:30 to stand in line at the front.

At 10 o’clock the new store opened its doors. Most customers had been joined for several hours in advance.
Until 2023, Parfumerie Douglas had no physical stores in our country. The store is known from Tiktok, and you will find a wide range of beauty products, ranging from perfumes and makeup to facial products and soap.

According to Professor Marketing Els Breugelmans of KU Leuven, the success of Douglas is anything but a coincidence. After the influx of fans in Ghent, she saw a clear explanation: « There are few chains that know their customer so well. These girls want to belong, they are afraid to miss something if they are not like their peers at the opening of this hugely popular beauty chain. »
