Don’t let the authorities open the winning champagne – Personal views
Clearly and explicitly defined requirements, discipline and a good decision-making, realization of agreed and decisive, good cooperation with professors, and many more, contributed to profiling students and their movement in the most relevant social factor in our country.
In the last half years, the students were at numerous crossroads, but all these above contributed to the most, as a rule, were rising stronger and more decisively.
There is a new crossroads, ie phase with new dilemmas. Namely, in a number of faculties, teachers agreed on their larger ones to organize some types of online teaching. The classes will be discussed and decided on the faculties of other universities these days. The impression is obtained that the desire for success and final victory over autocracy in Serbia is omnipresent, that this intensity in the academic community does not decrease, but there are two approaches to realization.
Students are visibly more sympathetic blockages in full capacity, to the required request. Back to any of the types of lectures and exercises would numb the blade of their pressure on power. Because, in such an important fight, which decides the fate of the state and citizens and which shots society from the claws of corruption and political one school, one school year easily lose its significance.
Some professors, and the rectors of the University of Belgrade, believes, believes that some type of teaching would be more effective. A number of students would gather at faculties. Return to more normal financing of faculty’s material costs, as well as the restoration of salaries, would reduce tensions and dissatisfaction, and thus some kind of divisions among teachers.
Many are of opinion that they would also dispel more serious threats of government in relation to a further fate of higher education. In such circumstances, more unique and more grilled, the professors would participate in student activities.
It would be said that both contains the good sides. And of course, some bad. What unequivocally judges in this combat two approaches is the attitude of the autocratic and dictatorial establishment. Namely, their approach matches the student’s intermittent. Back to classes and interruption of blockade would be presented in public as their great victory, ie as the final defeat of the « colored revolutions » in Serbia.
If that happened, it was almost certain that it would be a short-lived figure. Students would with their elaborate system, and with all their characteristics, and in such circumstances they knew they were positioned. They are so well cemented based on their construction, to return to old almost certainly cannot happen.
Personally, I would not give the authorities for the opening of the winning champagne, and that is why I vote for continuing the blockade. Well, Kol’ko costs, to cost.
