Donaumoosvolksfest 2025: program, opening times, arrival

The Donaumoos Volksfest took place again in spring 2025. This year it was the 54th event of this kind. The festival in Bavaria is a event that is deeply rooted in the region and a meeting point for many people who are enthusiastic about celebrations from all over the region. This year the Donaumoos Volksfest took place from April 29, 2025 to May 4, 2025. From Tuesday to Sunday, the organizers had put together a colorful program for young and old.

• 7 p.m.: Rotzlöffl – Boarisch rock: The group already had appearances in Las Vegas and Australia. They also played the world’s oceans on the AIDA and performed in Brazil at one of the largest Oktoberfest in the world.

• 1 – 4 p.m.: The children’s and family afternoon starts. There are reduced prices on the rides and in the marquee.
• 7 p.m.: Pure frontal party: The top party-party international international party has been awarded Germany’s best party band several times.

• 9.30 a.m. – 11.30 p.m.: All seniors from the age of 65 receive a beverage and meal voucher in the marquee’s beer garden.
• 10.15 a.m.: The festival service takes place in the marquee.
• 11 a.m.: Seniors’ day with early pint concert of the Karlshuld brass band.
• 5 p.m.: The Karlshuld brass band again plays at the end of the folk festival.

Donaumoos-Volksfest: Arrival

The Donaumoos Volksfest took place in Karlshuld in Bavaria. They were able to use public transport or the car to drive. The simpler variant was the car because Karlshuld is well connected to the road network. There were also parking spaces near the fairground. If you used public transport, you first had to take the train to Augsburg. From there you take the bus and then a local bus to Karlshuld.
