Donald Trump optimistic: Iran and Israel will soon have peace!
Iran and Israel « soon » will have peace, US President Donald Trump announced on Sunday, adding that many meetings are being run and that two countries should reach an agreement.
« Iran and Israel should reach an agreement and will reach it, » Trump announced on his Truth Social platform. « We’ll have peace, soon, » he added.
Trump did not reveal the details of the meetings that are guided or evidence of progress to peace.
On the other hand, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Saturday that the Israeli military operation would continue against Iran.
The White House spokeswoman did not respond to the request for a comment that Trump and the White House are working to deescalary the situation in the Middle East.
Trump, who presents himself as a peacemaker and criticized his political base, which did not prevent the conflict between Israel and Iran, recalled the other disputes he had solved, including between India and Pakistan, and regretted not recognizing his credit for that.
