Domuschiev brothers do not remember anything and do not know about Bozhkov’s threats to Naydeni

I don’t know, I don’t remember, I’m not sure. These were the prevailing answers to the questions of the court and the prosecutor’s office to the former partners of Vasil Bozhkov – the owners of Ludogorets brothers Kiril and Georgi Domuschiev and the gambling businessman Georgi Papazki, who together with his brother Walter Papazki supports CSKA. They were questioned in the case against Vasil Bozhkov and former staff of the State Gambling Committee. It is conducted against 8 people, defended to participate in an organized criminal group.

From the testimony of both Domuschiev and Papazki, it became clear that they were equally good with both Nayden and Vasil Bozhkov and that they had business with both Nayden and Bozhkov. At the beginning of the trial, the Naydenovi brothers said they had been threatened by Bozhkov, who insisted on transferring some of their business, claiming that they had told about the threats of both the Domuschiev brothers and the Walter and Georgi Papazki brothers. In court, however, Domuschiev and Papazki today said they did not know about such a thing and did not remember. Both Domuschiev and Georgi Papazki came to court, accompanied by security and lawyer.

« We had both a business and a friendly relationship with Bozhkov. Since 2001, I have known Nayden’s father – Stefan Naydenov, and I have known his sons since 2008 and since then they have been a general sponsor of Ludogorets. I know about their business relationships, I have no memory, I know something.

He said he had no memories of Tsvetomir Naydenov that he « engaged in his business relationship with Bozhkov ». « And on the phone, I doubt that he was dealing with this, and as much as what? », Answer to the prosecution’s repeated questions about whether Nayden had shared him with threats from Vasil Bozhkov to them during live meetings or by phone. Kiril Domuschiev said that in 2018-2019 he had good business and friendly relations with Bozhkov, and when asked if he threatened him again with « I have no such memory ».

Georgi Domuschiev also said he knew Vasil Bozhkov and his wife Elena Dineva, who is also among the defendants in the case. He also knows the Nayden brothers, with whom they have commercial relationships. He also claims that he was not threatened by Bozhkov.

« I had a lot of communication with Tsvetomir Naydenov, mainly for a business, I do not remember in this period what exactly we discussed. I have never been in their offices, in my office we have had many meetings with Tsvetomir and Boyan Naydenovi. He also does not remember Bozhkov that he threatened one of them. Georgi Papazki explained that Bozhkov had known each other for a long time, had a common business and a common playroom. He also explained to the court that he did not remember anyone telling him about a deteriorated relationship between Bozhkov and Nayden. « These are quite serious things and I should remember them, but I have not heard such a thing, » Papazki added.

The supervising prosecutor in the case Angel Kanev commented to journalists that it is probably some specific amnesia that appears in witnesses in such cases or is probably due to some age changes.

Bozhkov himself said that he had never had a bad relationship with Domuschiev, although in 2020 he spoke publicly against the Domuschiev brothers.

« Later, on August 1, 2019, part of the conditions set for my business to exist were formed into a non-market contract between National Lottery AD, New Games AD and Nova Broadcasting Group EOOD for BGN 240,000 with VAT, » claimed Bozhkov.

Shortly afterwards, Kiril Domuschiev had said that he would sue Bozhkov for slander, but there was no such case and gave up. Domuschiev did not give further details about his relationship with Bozhkov to journalists today.

Mikhail Simov was the third witness questioned in the case. He owns a security company and has provided the personal security of the Nayden family since the summer of 2019 for about a half year. Then, according to Simov, the Ministry of the Interior begins to guard them, and this coincides with the period in which they become the main witnesses of the prosecutor’s office in the case against Bozhkov.

« Tsvetomir Naydenov called me on the phone and told me that he was threatened. I asked what he needed. He told me – personal security. Some things are a company secret and I couldn’t tell them. I guarded him and his family door. He told me he was threatened by a former partner, Vasil Bozhkov, » the witness explained. He said at least ten employees were engaged in Nayden’s guard.

The owner of the Sportal Stily Shishkov site, who initially had to appear in the Court of Justice, but asked to be questioned with a video conferencing connection because he was not in Bulgaria was also indicated before the court. In a video conversation, he explained that he had known the Nayden family for over 15 years and had commercial conversations with them about advertising on the site.

« Shortly after the Sports started, we had conversations and I knew both Tamparov and Vasil Bozhkov. We have always worked with foreign gambling operators, and also with Bulgarian lately. » Betfer « were our customers, but our relations ended when their license was expired. »

« I remember that when they submitted their license renewal documents, their examination began to delay a lot. We heard that Vasil Panov deliberately delayed the documents. I did not know him and I never saw him. We heard these allegations from the British themselves, who made their own investigations, and they were sent to Bulgaria. » He said that there was also a publication on the website Novini.bg, which is also part of the group, but the supervising prosecutor Angel Kanev claims that the publication can no longer be found.

« It was a long time ago. I am surprised that it was removed from the site, I do not know who did it. It was said that Bozhkov was known to Vasil Panov. It was strange because the British were a small company like a presence in Bulgaria, but we lost as a media. We did not work with this company, but I did not recon With the license, « Shishkov explained.

He said that Tsvetomir and Boyan Naydeni mentioned to him about a business conflict with Bozhkov, but he did not know the details. He learned of the conflict a few months before Bozhkov left the country and lived in Dubai.

« They told me what we had read in media publications – that they had been threatened. Bozhkov and I saw him on his initiative and even asks me if I would help to clear the conflict with each other, but my answer was that I did not want to stake. He pointed to the court that Domuschiev brothers also knew himself.

Due to the contradictions and lack of memory of some details today, the prosecutor’s office asked to read the testimony of Stilyan Shishkov, which he had given during the pre -trial proceedings at the beginning of the investigation.

In them, Shishkov claims that Bozhkov does not like international betting companies, and they advertise in Sport. « That’s why Bozhkov did not advertise to us. He asked us to meet us shortly after I launched on the site. He asked me why I let such companies advertise to us. We advertised online betting, as he did not have. I told him to navigate them because I thought they were the future, » Shishkov said in his testimony.
