Dominic Fritz says it’s no revenge. Firmly in front of tears and breaking shirts

The City Hall of Timișoara began on Thursday to raise 12 terraces in the city center, which carried out their activity without authorization, although Mayor Dominic Fritz warned last week that they must enter legality.

‘Today we send a very clear signal to all the correct entrepreneurs in Timisoara that we do not accept unfair competition, that we do not accept some to defy the rules and therefore, with a seven -day warning, we raised 12 terraces from the center of Timisoara that did not have an authorization for these terraces. Some have tried in the last seven days to take their registration number in this regard, but the files must be complete, ‘Dominic Fritz said on Thursday.

The chief mayor explained that the reasons why the employers did not enter legality with the operating permits are multiple.

‘Some try to challenge the rules, some do not want to pay, others have become accustomed to going and so, some have failed to agree. Regardless of all these reasons and excuses, the break of shirts, tears, today it is clear that we are firm. Of course this is not a punishment or a revenge. Whenever I come up with a complete documentation, they can rent the public space at the advantageous price of 2 lei per/square meter. In the summer they can raise a terrace legally, « Dominic Fritz said.
