Domestic violence and fight: police arrest two suspects
On Sunday there were two serious violent incidents that resulted in police operations and arrests. Both a case of domestic violence in Niederschen and a fight in Esch/Alzette required the intervention of the authorities.
Domestic violence in Niederschen
In the afternoon, the police were reported to a discussion in an apartment in Niederschen. A man is said to have become palpable to his partner. When the officials arrived, the woman had injuries and was taken to a hospital after a first aid.
More protection for victims of domestic violence
During the entire mission, the alleged perpetrator behaved uncooperatively and aggressively towards the officials. The public prosecutor then ordered his arrest and directions from the apartment. He will be presented to the investigative judge on Monday.
Bodily harm in Esch/Alzette
On Sunday evening there was a violent argument at Rue Du Commerce in Esch/Alzette. After initial investigations, a dispute escalated in the course of which two men hit their victim. The injured person was taken to a hospital after a first aid.
One of the two suspects could still be placed at the crime scene and arrested by the public prosecutor's office. Among other things, he is investigated for attempted manslaughter. The search for the second perpetrator has so far been unsuccessful, the investigation continues.
