Dogs of the Bolonka breed were kidnapped from a 55 -year -old man who is a former mayor of Zurich and now lives in a nearby village of Schlieren. The dogs disappeared last week when the owner was away.

When he returned home, the animals were no longer there and the owner found only a letter in which the kidnappers for the release of dogs demanded a ransom million francs. Instead of paying the ransom, however, the man turned to the police.

Police officers then detained a thirty -year -old man from Norway in the investigation of the event at Zurich Airport, who, according to them, participated in the theft of dogs.

Based on other tracks and pan -European cooperation, the police in Poland detained a 38 -year -old suspect Pole and discovered kidnapped animals. Dogs returned to the owner on Friday.

“I returned the animals to the owner who could not cover the emotion. The prosecutor applied to the detainee by police supervision, and he could not leave the country, ”wrote Polish police officers on the X network.

The Swiss police said the detained burrow is in custody and the authorities in Poland continue to investigate the suspicious.
