Dofine Race 2025: Stage, Results, Order
Dofine’s cycling race is the last stage race for the main celebrities before the famous race across France. This year’s three major candidates will meet the yellow T -shirt: these are cycling aces Tadej PogacarJonas vingegaard and Remco Evenepoel. From the big four is missing only Primož Rogličwhich after resigning with Italy races prepares at height.
Slovenians were successful races, the first Slovenian to win Dofine, was in 2010 Jani Brajkovichwho in a memorable duel beat the big Albert Contador. Primož Roglič won the race twice, in 2022 and 2024, and in 2020 he reliably led before resignation. This year is the first favorite of Tadej Pogačar to face strong competition.

The middle of the week brings a 17.4 km long individual chronometer between charmes-sur-rhoh and saint-péray, which will be important for specialists and can lead to the first major time differences between favorites. The fifth stage, 183 km long, from Saint-Priest to Mâcon, is vibrant and offers opportunities for attacks in the end. The sixth stage, 126.7 km long, leads from Valserhôn to Combbloux and includes the first more serious mountain destination, which will be the first real test for cyclists who are aiming for a overall victory.
The last part of the race is reserved for real mountain trials. The seventh stage, 131.6 km long, includes climbing on Col de la Madeleine and Col de la Croix de Fer and ends with a challenging climb to Valmeinier 1800, which is likely to have a decisive impact on the overall ranking. The last, eighth stage, 133.3 km long, starts in Val-D’arcu and ends at Plateau du Mont-Cenis, the highest point of the 2097-meter race, which will be the last opportunity for changes in the total.
