Documentation for the last three sections has been transmitted to ANAP
The National Road Investment Company has completed and transmitted today, for validation, to the National Agency for Public Procurement the documentation for launching the design and execution tenders of the last three sections of the Union-A8 Highway.
The three sections of Lețcani, Iași and Ungheni have a total length of 33 kilometers and an estimated cost of over 9 billion lei.
“For these three lots, after the meetings with the entrepreneurs, we included several changes in the award documentation. Specifically, if it is opted for the establishment of the guarantee of good execution by successive detention, CNIR has established the initial amount in a percentage of 0.5 % of the value of the contract. Also, the deadline for preparing offers will be extended and established by reference to the complexity of the project. At the same time, potential bidders will be able to assume the award documentation by electronic signing or by
declaration on one’s own responsibility. Last but not least, we decided to simplify the presentation of the execution chart ”, said the general director of the National Road Investment Company, Gabriel Budescu.
Section 3, Lețcani -Iași (DN 24) has a length of 17.7 kilometers and includes 18 bridges and passages, 6 tunnels and 2 knots. The design and execution time is 46 months. Section 4, Iași-Golăiești (12.7 km) has 12 passages, 2 tunnels and one knot. Design and execution time: 46 months. The 5 section, Golaiești -vama (bridge over Prut in Ungheni) has a length of 2.77 km and will be built in 18 months.
The auction announcement will be published in the electronic public procurement system after all the procedures.
