Actress Csilla Barath Bastaićknown for her roles in domestic series such as ‘Dar Mar’, ‘Kud Puklo to Crack’, ‘Villa Maria’ …, after a long time, she appeared in public at the Vecernjak Rose Media Award. For the occasion, she chose a simple, long tight dress, and many noticed that she had not changed much.
Bastaić began her television career in the early 2000s, and one of her first roles was in the first Croatian telenovela ‘Villa Maria’. The audience could then watch her in ‘Bumerang TV’, which was shown on Nova TV 2005 and 2006. After that, she continued to work on various projects on television and film.
Recently, it has been less frequent in public, which is partly related to the changes in private life. In the middle of 2022 she gave birth to a daughter Margit. She received with her husband Matko Antolovic. In an interview with Gloria, she spoke about the experience with medically assisted fertilization (MPO).
– I remember a situation where our friends were, when we told them that we were in the procedure of medically assisted fertilization and that we had succeeded (because we have always said very openly about it), saying, ‘Well, you will not tell anyone that. Pretend everything went natural. ‘ I wondered what such an attitude?! Why embarrassing and imposing a sense of something with us, like so many other couples, is not right? Couples enter the MPO procedure for various reasons: sometimes a problem can be detected, and sometimes, as in my case, there are no indications for failure. Regardless of the reasons, it is common to everyone that they have a difficult path in front of them and that they need a very much patience, determination and nerves – the actress revealed.
