A kind of crime’s response to « slow horses »-so one could describe this habit-forming and exciting series that stands out with its syllable dialogue that is delivered in the pure screwball style. But just like the MI5 spies in the slough house, they will soon end up in the middle of the hot air. The publisher is Jussi Adler-Olsen’s Danish Scandi-Noir-Ducker, previously filmed for Danish TV. In this British interpretation, Matthew good plays the emotionally suspended star investigator Carl Mørck, while Swedish Alexej Manvelov (« Before We Die », « Top Dog ») impress in the role of his Syrian assistant.
