Since 2014, “The Lion’s Den” has been an integral part of the TV program of Vox. The principle of the show is simple: On the one hand, investors are with financial capital, many years of know-how and contacts, on the other hand the founders with their business ideas. While the former look for innovative and promising investments, the latter need capital to implement and expand their ideas and their products. So ideally both parties meet in the middle and act a deal. But the « lions » have nothing to give away, which means that the founders first have to present their business idea convincingly before an investment occurs.

Last year beamed Vox An anniversary relay after 10 years of DHDL. In 2025, “The Lion’s Den” is now going into a new round. But when is the start of season 17? What do the broadcast dates look like? And which investors are there in 2025? You can find out all of this in this article.

The start date of the 17th season of « Die Dähle der Löwen » is on Monday, April 28, 2025. The private broadcaster Vox exudes a total of eight episodes that always run at Primetime at 8:15 p.m. every week. Accordingly, the following broadcast dates result:

Transfer of « The Lion’s Den » Season 17 on TV and Stream

As already mentioned, the private broadcaster takes over Vox The transmission on free TV. Alternatively, you can also the paid streaming portal RTL+ to use. There the respective episodes can be viewed indefinitely. The cheapest package is the basic subscription, which costs 5.99 euros a month. There is no repetition in the analog TV program.

Compared to Season 16 of « The Lion’s Den » Nothing has changed in terms of the jury. Five investor chairs are always occupied for each shipment, which results in a constantly changing constellation. For three lions, however, it ends after season 17. Nils Glagau, Tijen Onaran and Tillman Schulz then leave the show.
