Discover the government plan, the elderly will receive the 13th pension

The elderly will receive the 13th pension. According to the political document for aging and Action Plan 2025-2030, it turns out that the Government plans to achieve this objective within 2030. This national plan for the third age will be prepared by the Ministry of Health and Social Protection with the support of the United Nations Fund (UNFPA) and coordinated by the Albanian Population and Development Center (CAC).

The Action Plan for Elderly People 2025-2030, aims to provide a comprehensive and sustainable approach to improving the quality of life of the elderly in Albania. This plan comes at an important moment for the country, while Albania progresses to the European Union integration process and faces deep demographic and economic challenges that directly affect the well -being of the elderly.

The government acknowledges that the pronounced demographic changes and difficult economic conditions for the elderly, beneficiaries of urban, rural or social pensions have given greater importance to the development of policies dedicated to this age group. This action plan is based on principles such as equal rights, social integration, improving health care, guaranteeing access to social services and institutional support.
