Disaster after an officer fell asleep at the wheel

Two young men-33 and 29-died in a road accident on Friday night, on DN2-E85, between Garoafa and Bizighești, the Vrancea County Police Inspectorate (IPJ).

The 33 -year -old man (officer, according to the local press) was declared died on the spot, and the other died at the hospital.

According to police, the 33 -year -old man, who was in the car with his wife and two children aged 8 and 5, would have fallen asleep and entered the counter, where he hit a car driven by a 29 -year -old driver from Dâmbovița county.

The 33 -year -old driver was declared died on the spot. Four other people, including the two children, were injured, being transported to the Focșani Emergency Receiving Unit for specialized medical care. Later, the police announced that the second driver involved in the accident, a 29-year-old man from Dâmbovița, died at the hospital.

right local pressthe 29 -year -old was called Romel Adrian Constantin, from Târgoviște (Dâmbovița county). Constantin was leading a BMW 6 Series when he was hit by officer Tiberiu Pătrășcanu, 33, and died at the hospital.

Next, Tiberiu’s wife and his daughter are in a stable state for intensive care in Focșani, but having multiple trauma, and the boy is at the Galati hospital, being in a better condition.
