Disappeared 112 million forints: What happened to the mystical forest project?

The mystical forest project was announced a year ago, last April. The canopy prompted by virtual elements would have been built on the outskirts of the Zala Esztegye. The project’s visuals were impressive, with a venue and restaurant capable of receiving 120 people, a reception center with a 360 degree dome with hologram projections, and the forest road would have been full of computer visuals.

The construction was won by two other applicants in Budapest, but they did not start the work because it disappeared on the fur of 112 million, funded by public money. Where it is not known, because only the contractor answered the questions of our paper, who said they didn’t get a penny.

According to Blikk Sunday, 88-88 million HUF has been spent on a feasibility study, market research and technical studies. The contracting and executive company, Zalai Spatial Development Agency Ltd., received HUF 118.9-118.9 million in the Kisfaludy program, but to what they had spent on the project so far, they did not answer.

We did not receive a satisfactory response from the current mayor of the small village Esztregnye, Zoltán Szilágyi, who worked as a deputy mayor in April last year, and it is impossible not to have a view of the project. The mayor wrote:

« I have repeatedly declared a different feed on the matter, but since they never give up that material and not as I say, I refuse to communicate with anyone again! »

At the same time, the previous mayor, Attila Kele Lajos, said it was true that the construction had not started. But the advance was spent, the question is only who, when and for what? Not a mystical forest, because it is not.
