The driver of the van who was involved in a frontal collision with a passenger car in the night from Thursday to Friday, was interrogated by the investigating judge on Saturday. He has decided to release the man under certain conditions, the public prosecutor’s office of East Flanders says.

Bram van Acker, the director’s lawyer, says that his client is seriously excited. He no longer remembers the facts. « He woke up in the hospital, but he no longer knows what happened to it. The concussion he sustained has something to do with it in the accident, » says Van Acker.
