Director is responsible for his decisions
The main contractors on the second track between Divača and Koper Kolektor CPG and Yapı Merkezi addressed the Supervisory Engineer DRI because of complications in the construction in the Glinščica Valley, a claim for payment of € 350 million.
The claim was addressed to the DRI because of the costs of damage and losses they had due to complications in the Glinščica valley, as they could not build there on the timetable and even had to stop the work, which affected the entire construction.

Tine vadnalPresident of the Construction Collector, commented on the request: “The director of the company is authorized to manage and represent the company and in these framework is independent and responsible for its decisions and limited to decisions made by the General Meeting. If the shareholders are assessed as needed to discuss the claim, the assembly of the Kolektor construction will make appropriate decisions. «
Although the eligibility of the claims for 2TDK, it deals with an independent external supervisory engineer, but as they point out in 2TDK, the claim is unreasonable in view of the circumstances. « 2TDK is carefully handling state funds and strongly emphasizes that it is not and will never pay unjustified or unfounded costs, » they stressed. At 2TDK they call the claim as unreasonable.
The total investment value of the second track is 1.1 billion euros, and the first trains are expected to drive along the new track in the first half of next year. As reported, construction workers perform bridging karst phenomena in tunnels on the upper part of the line, and in the southern part they laid the first kilometers of tracks.
