Dimitrijeska-Kochoska: Government pursues very careful policy to control costs

– This is due to the debt of the Eurobond with the loan we received and made an annual savings of 15 million euros, ie the two tranches of 30 million euros. It shows our commitment that is aimed at controlling costs, budget deficits and public debt and I believe that by the end of the year we will be very careful – said the minister in the Sitel TV Diary.
She added that the mission of the International Monetary Fund, which has been in the country in the past, has noted the efforts made by the Government in order to control the costs, although it has found that the government has inherited many problems from the previously, confirmed by the country's only country in the region that has failed to consolidate.
Regarding the issue of the growth of the minimum wage, he said that the solution to workers and employers for growth of the minimum wage that will be based on productivity and payment of the agreed amount under the legal obligations will be welcomed and respected.
– In the elections, we have performed an election program in which we have said our views on tax rates and contributions and there will be no change. How workers and employers will be agreed within the Economic Social Council, where there are representatives from one and the other. The salary should be based on productivity and if the amount they agree on, we will absolutely greet it. That is, if one side considers that it can deliver productivity to what they agree on as a minimum wage and the other side that it will be able to pay it in accordance with the legal obligations that we have never said we will change, we will greet it and continue to respect it – the minister said, adding that in the administration it is very small.
Regarding the pensions, he stated that the pensioners with the pensions that will be paid on April 1 will receive the increase of 2,500 denars, which was promised and that it corrects an injustice that was made by the policies implemented in the previous period, and then returning the old methodology, because, as he said, there is no change in this time.
Regarding the measures the government has taken to suppress the infaluation, it said they expect to have an effect in the short term and that some agricultural solutions that should have an impact in the long run are being prepared.
