Around 3 a.m. on Sunday morning there was a traffic accident in Diekirch, in which a car drove against an entrance gate of a private site. While the driver removed on foot from the scene of the accident, the car sent an automatic emergency call via the e-call function. This was forwarded to the police.

Two officials went to the scene of the accident and found the vehicle and a completely damaged entrance goal. Two witnesses stated that the alleged perpetrator was on the run.
