Each day, the editorial office of Dnevnik prepares and publishes over 80 articles – fast news, followed by detailed explanations for the causes and consequences of events, interviews, analyzes, original developments on various topics, long reading stories, photos, videos, infographics. All of them provide readers with quality and verified information that they can rely on at any time wherever they are. And as they are comfortable on the screen of the mobile phone, tablet or laptop, as well as in e -mail.
The news never stops, and interesting stories are all around us. That is why now Dnevnik is looking for more journalists to join the team with work on topics from Bulgaria. They will offer and produce journalistic materials in different genres and platforms, following the ethical and professional standards of one of the highest quality and popular digital media in the country. |
Applicants are expected to have knowledge of the most important events and topics in the country, to be informed daily about their development and to be able to create fast and quality content. They must be able to do reporting in different fields, stepping on the principles of bona fide facts – by conversations with terrain/by telephone, working with databases, interpreting publications in other media.

To this end, it is necessary to know the information sites and agencies well, to be able to evaluate which news to whom they are important for and are capable of assessing the possible sequels on each topic.
It is imperative that they respect the facts, be curious, observant, well -informed, and orient themselves quickly. They have to write competently, prepare for any event they will reflect, whether it looks big or insignificant. Be able to or want to learn how to create content in video and in infographics.
If they have these qualities, they will join a team not only of professionals but also to good colleagues. They will have opportunities for additional training and qualifications, as well as for further development in journalism. |
General requirements:
- At least one year of media experience
- Skills to quickly and literate text creation
- Text Edit Skills to Clear and Short Content
- Knowledge of basic journalistic standards
- Working skills with word processing programs, information research tools and basic databases in Bulgaria
- English is a must and any other additional language is plus
- Activity on social networks is an advantage
- The interest in shooting is also an advantage.
