Detention of a criminal wanted by seven arrest warrants

The detained one is a 43-year-old man who had been hiding from justice from 2022. The first arrest warrant behind him was issued in June 2022 by the District Prosecutor’s Office in Bytom on the charge of rape. In the following months, six more arrest warrants were issued, including for managing an organized criminal group responsible for over a thousand frauds.

Policemen from the Search and Identification Department of the Voivodship Police Headquarters in Katowice took over the case in November 2022 after intensive operational activities the man’s stay was determined. The detention took place on April 17, 2025 in Tarnowskie Góry.
