Derbi Tirana-Partizani in the « National Arena », police reveal the road segments to be blocked

This evening is played the derby of the capital between Tirana and Partizan in the « National Arena » as police have revealed which road axes will be blocked.

At 14:00 will be moved vehicles around the stadium, while roads will be blocked at 17:00. Road segments that will be blocked, from 17:00 to the end of the activity, are:

Lek Dukagjini Street, around the stadium, « Dervish Hima » Street, « Gjergj Filipi » Street, « Pope John Paul II » Street, from the intersection with « Ismail Qemali » to the « National Arena » stadium, « Martyrs of the Nation » Boulevard, from the Presidency to Mother Teresa Square.

As for the journey of the fans, the police indicate that they will be as follows:

– The movement of Tirana fans will take place: Departure in front of the « Puppet Theater » Boulevard « Martyrs of the Nation, » Bajram Curri « Street, ETC, » Pope John Paul II « Street, Coin Center – Stadium;

– The movement of Partizan fans will take place: from the intersection of « Muhamet Gjollesha » street with « Artan Lenja » Street, along the « Muhamet Gjollesha » street, « Sulejman Delvina » street, « Ibrahim Rugova » Street after the Presidency, « Frederick Shopen », University stairs.

Pursuant to the plan of measures, rigorous controls on fans will be exercised, before entering the stadium, illegal items (strong items, water bids, umbrellas, metal keys or pyrotechnics, etc.). Each fan must be equipped with identification document.

They will not be allowed to enter the citizen’s stadium without identification document, as well as children under the age of 16, although they may be equipped with tickets, will not be allowed without the presence of the parent or guardian (accompanied by a document).

All those fans who are identified by police, as problematic fans, will not be allowed to enter the stadium.
