It wasn’t easy, he worked on the house besides work, but he managed to slap the residence. The cold shower – or rather icy floods – has been in the days: He received a check from the electricity provider, which claims 371,333 forints.

– At first I didn’t understand, as I pay a flat rate, about $ 70,000 a month. This is not easy to manage this way even to have something to live, but this check has just been entirely sent to the floor, I am unable to pay Ádi’s clown said.

Adam contacted the power supply customer service, hoping it was a misunderstanding, or if not, he might be able to ask for installments. But his hopes fell into the dust.

– They explained that the claim was perfectly legitimate. According to a January government decree, if my consumption has only exceeded 5,000 kWh a year, a new meter will be installed, which can be read remotely. It costs 251 thousand HUF and the remaining 120,000 is the difference in electricity bill. And installment payments are not given because I have less than one year on my name Adam frightened.

The clown doctor estimates that consumption of more than 5,000 kWh was generated at the time of the prolonged sale procedure, as it took months to buy the house due to an ongoing estate procedure. During this time, the meter was already in his name.

Indeed, the law states that at a household that exceeds 5000 kWh of electricity consumption at any year, it is mandatory to install the smart meter. The reason for this was to make the electrical network easier in the long run.
