Deliberately led to bankruptcy 7 Fasonry to avoid tax liabilities, 4 people arrested
The Economic and Financial Crimes Investigation Section of the Elbasan Local Police Directorate, in cooperation with the Prosecutor’s Office of the Elbasan Court, has successfully finalized another blow to economic crimes, within the operation codenamed « Bankrupt ».
Pursuant to the decision of the Elbasan Court, dated June 2, 2025, security measures for four nationals, suspected of involvement in a fraud scheme and avoidance of fiscal obligations, were executed through the deliberate bankruptcy of some Fason businesses.
Police Notification:
They deliberately led to bankruptcy, 7 fasonry, in order to avoid tax liabilities, security measures are executed for 4 citizens.
One of the accused, an Italian citizen, was captured in the PKK Rinas, in an attempt to leave Albania.
Also, conservative sequestration over 7 entities and their 12 bank accounts is imposed.
In the framework of Operation Bankrupt, DVP Economic and Financial Crimes Investigation Section, in cooperation with the Prosecutor’s Office, executed the decision of the Elbasan Court, issued on 02.06.2025, for:
-Determining the security measure « Arrest in Prison », for:
Citizen AK, 40 years old, who was apprehended by the services of the Police Commissariat no. 4, Tirana;
Italian citizen GL, 60, who was apprehended in the PKK Rinas, at the exit of Albania;
Citizen ZK, 27, all three as administrators of subjects;
-defining the « home arrest » security measure, for citizen ES, 31 years old, economist, fourth for the offenses of « Failure to Taxes and Taxes », « Provoked Bankruptcy », « Fraud », « Abuse of Competences » and « Hiding Income »;
-Overview of preventive seizure over 7 subjects (Fasoner) and 12 their bank accounts.
Investigations suspect that these citizens have cooperated for bankruptcy, 7 fasonry, to avoid taxes and taxes.
Investigations continue to identify and bring to criminal responsibility, other citizens implicated in this criminal activity.
