Today is the meeting of the Tirana City Council where a series of decisions have been made to help people in need, but also to revitalize the Palace of Hand -to -Game « Aslan Russia ». Ristani said the project involvement, support for girls and women, victims of gender -based violence and domestic violence with food packages were also proposed.
“For February 2025 administrative units have selected 277 families, of which 173 will be treated by the local budget fund and 104 families funded by the Conditional Ministry Fund. For January 2025 administrative units have selected 272 families, of which 169 will be treated by the local budget fund and 103 families are mainly the families of the Ministry. Families with economic problems, families with social problems, with more than 4 members or 1 single member, Roma or Egyptian family with heads of household children.
For the third year in a row, the Municipality of Tirana proposes the support of obligations for DS4 programs, DS5 from the budget of the Municipality of Tirana and for the resume so far from its funds, the Municipality of Tirana has allocated to various DSs a value of 1.159.299,655 ALL for the years 2023-2024 and budget in 2025 184.547.577. Since January 1, 2025 the Municipality of Tirana launches a 100% subsidy of the subscription ticket to retirees as it has been announced, as has been subsidizing the subscription for students for years. Increasing funds for both types of subscriptions in budget 2025 has been proposed.
Project involvement, support for girls and women, victims of gender -based violence and domestic violence with food packages has also been proposed. This is an important support for the integration of victims of violence in terms of not only the social economic aspect but also the empowerment of raped heads. It is projected that beneficiaries will be 200 women and girls victims of violence who will benefit every 3 months a 3,000 lek food package.
Another project, reintegration and support for vulnerable families, a sustainable approach, has been proposed.
