Decision targeting the elderly with small pensions
The government will approve in Thursday's meeting the 'One-off' aids for pensioners with small pensions, the support being 800 lei granted in two equal installments, 400 lei, in April and, respectively, December.
'By this project of normative act it is proposed to regulate the measure regarding the granting of financial support in the amount of 800 lei, in two equal installments of 400 lei in April 2025, respectively December 2025, for the retirees of the public pension system and the retirement of the state military pensions in the records of the territorial houses/the sectoral houses of the sectoral pensions.
In the case of persons whose pension rights are opened after April 1, 2025, the financial aid is granted in December 2025, in the amount of 400 lei. In the case of pensioners who, in March 2025, respectively, November 2025 receive differences in money rights, due and not reached, related to periods prior to March 2025, respectively, November 2025, when determining the ceiling provided by this emergency ordinance, these rights are not taken into account ', it is shown in the Normal Note.
